Marly & Me

I do not think I'm a jump on the bandwagon type of person when it comes to certain things. BUT I URGE YOU ALL TO GO SEE Marley & Me. I had preconceived notions about this film but I ended up loving it; it also gave me a chance to explain certain things to my 3 year old daughter (will not disclose them due to the fact it would RUIN the movie for those who are going to see it). Good movie, Good movie :) :) (2 smileys)

Wonderful State Troopers

Yesterday I had a flat tire on the highway. So I eased my car over to the shoulder of the road, carefully, got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so life-like, you wouldn't believe it! They are in trench coats exposing their nude bodies and private parts to the approaching drivers. To my surprise, cars started slowing down looking at my life-like men. And of course, traffic started backing up. Everybody tooted their horns and waved like crazy. It wasn't long before a state trooper pulled up behind me. He got out of his car and started walking toward me. I could tell he was not a happy camper!"What's going on here?" the State Trooper asks."My car has a flat tire," I said calmly."Well, what are those obscene cardboard men doing here by the road?" he asked.I couldn't believe that he didn't know. So I told him,"Oh Hellooooo! Those are my emergency flashers!!"

As my friend Rebecca said If you dont know this is a joke by now-this truly didnt happen to me:p

NCIS & PIZZA

What does one do without their child? Most would go out, cruise (if people still do that), go to the show. I however am sitting at home watching my 1st season of NCIS and eating pizza-WHOOO what a wild night I'm having.

My Tattoo Artist

This is my sweet baby girl Maddy =) I don't know what I'd do w/o her!!! I was looking through some older pictures and had seen these and said "Ahhhh... other mothers can or will relate!!!" My daughter and her first "Tattoo" ala-crayola. I had to scrub off as much as I could BUT most of it just had to wear off. Lesson learned- KEEP MARKERS WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES!!!

My little Indian

This Thanksgiving was a little out of our "ordinary" Thanksgiving. Missy and her family couldnt come up and Mom didn't want to cook so Mom and Dad took us out to eat at the Waggon Wheel in Mountain Grove. Before we went Madison wanted to play like an Indian since I taught her about the first thanksgiving and read her a book about Plymoth Rock. She told me she was thankful for crayons, glue, markers, God and Jesus, Papa & Jo-Jo, Me-Me, Jay-Jay, Nickey, Lauren, Ooper, Mr. Luke, our Church, Corn on the Cob and of course ME!!! She said that she needed to change into a dress because the pilgrim ladies wore dresses and that is why she's half naked in these shots so she is mad b/c I made her get dressed and well you can see who won that argument!!! We are all very thankful for our many blessings and we look forward to a better year next year =)
